Westridge Business and Retail Park

In order to design the new Westbridge Business and Retail Park, near Morgantown, West Virginia, the developer had to put the site through a detailed evaluation. Since the site of the park was being proposed on an abandoned strip mine, and an underground coal mine, they wanted to be thorough in their investigation before breaking ground. NGE conducted the geotechnical subsurface investigation, soils laboratory testing, prepared earthwork recommendations, foundation recommendations for proposed structures, and subsidence considerations for the proposed Westridge site.
